Australia Diary - 7 days

Hello, mom and dad!

This is my travel diary when I’m traveling trough Australia. Today I’ve been in Melbourne, and well there are actually many things you can do here, today we’ve been to a hot topic to buy some band merch and I love it!! 

It’s sad that there isn’t any hot topics in Sweden. The food here is absolutely amazing and I love that too!

I’m here with my friend Kristina and well, as you know we aren't from the same country.. She’s from Norway and we came to Australia to meet our friend Jo, she lives here and we’re going to the Soundwave festival! We’re going to see Green day, we all love them so it’s gonna be really fun, it’s Thursday today and we’re going to Soundwave on Saturday. It takes a while to come to Soundwave because it’s in Perth, Western Australia and we are now in Melbourne as I said and that’s in Victoria, but we’re taking the plane and that’s tomorrow. It was a short vacation here in Melbourne but I guess we’re going back after Soundwave. Me and Kristina are absolutely going to Sydney, that’s for sure.

Well that’s kinda it for today, I’ll text you tomorrow evening and then I’m probably in Perth for Soundwave.

Hey, It’s me again and now I’m in Perth, I’m so happy and I can’t believe that I’m gonna see Green Day tomorrow. Well it’s nice here in Perth, it’s kinda hot but that’s good if I compare with Sweden.

I’m happy that I’m not in Sweden right now because it’s probably cold now in February. So today haven’t we done that much, we've been on a plane for a long time to get here. Three teenagers on a plane to Perth *Phew* that was kinda rough. Well I can’t tell you so much today because we haven't done that much as I said. So I guess i’m telling you more tomorrow because then we’re going to see Green day. Ohhh I’m so excited.

Hello!! 

Today am I really happy because I’ve seen Green day and I’ve actually met them too. 

It was so fun, so it all started when we went there in the middle of the night to get to the first row. We did it so we stod at the first row for the whole concert and it was truly amazing! I got on stage to sing longview, Kristina for playing guitar and she’s really amazing on the guitar and Jo just jumped into the crowd while they were playing Know Your Enemy but Billie joe asked who she was and she said that she was here with her friends from Sweden and Norway. Billie joe got so interested that he told Jo to get backstage after the show, and so we did. After the show  the security took us backstage and we met Billie joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré cool, ohh it was the best day of my life!! I talked with Billie joe, Mike and Tré about Sweden and how they were in Lund in 1994, they said that they still remember it. We got to get in their tourbus and they said they we could meet them again and that the next Green day concerts are free for us. We’re meeting them tomorrow and oh my I’m nervous but still really really excited. // Frederika!! <3

So today i’m meeting Green day in person and not only seeing them on the stage. I have to say this before i meet them and then after I've met them I can scream and jump and ahh oh my fricking god! Okay bye I gotta go now!!

Hello it’s me again and I’ve met my idols! We had so fun and we played a lot of music! They said they were coming to Sweden and Lund too soon and I got tickets for free, well Kristina got tickets too. Yay and we’re going when they come to Norway and that also for free!! 

Well tonight we’re going back to Melbourne but, we’re flying with Green day again ahh I’m a such fangirl. 

We haven’t don't much more today.. I’m sorry but I guess i have more to tell you about tomorrow.

Hey everyone in Sweden!

How’s the weather in Sweden? I guess its’s pretty cold, well here it’s nice warm. It’s after sumer y’know haha it’s been up to 25°c and now We are back in Melbourne and then tomorrow I Kristina are you going to Sydney. Today we’ve been eating a lot, seriously haha. We woke up went downstairs in the Hotel to get some breakfast, we ate the breakfast but uh not the Vegemite that’s just gross. Well after the breakfast we went up to our room to get our things and then check out, and so we did but I ate a banana Kristina ate an apple and Jo ate some Australian fruit, I have no idea what it was haha. Now we’re at the airport to take the plane, and guess where we’re at? You’re right, we’re at a restaurant. Okay I don't have that much more to say today.. The days just get more boring for each day.. but yea tomorrow is it the last day in Melbourne for me and Kristina.

Hi, today we’re back i Melbourne but me and Kristina are going to the airport today because the plane arrives at 4 am so i think we are leaving around 2 am from Jos house.It’s right now 1 am and all we have done tonight is that we have of course eaten much haha I'm so full right now you don't believe it. We’ve been singing Karaoke mostly Green day but also bands like Swmrs and My Chemical Romance and some bands Kristina like.

Oh yea we were at a shoppingmall today and apparently was the Hot topic closed so i didn't buy anything accept food hahah, and we met Swmrs with Jakob Danger and we all freaked out ahh..!

Our days aren't that long because the only thing we do is that we wake up really late, or well Kristina wakes up at 9 am or something haha and then we just eat not much more.. I’ll have more to tell tomorrow I guess! // Frederika 

Hello again 

Today we’re in Sydney but not with Jo.. It’s sad but she couldn’t go with us because her family and her were going to New Zealand.

Well today is the last day in Australia for us.. So today me and Kristina just were a bit in the city and then we took the ferry boat and got some information about things we could do but * don't remember what they said haha, well we’ve seen kangaroos and koalas and they’re so cute aww.

I love animals so much, all types. Okay almost hahah but I mean I love all animals accept Snakes and Spiders.. eww they’re so gross.

That’s one thing I'm afraid of when I'm here in Australia, I'm afraid of all the spiders with poison and uh no it’s just a big no!

Today we ate vegemite for the first time too and ew it was really gross, almost as gross as spiders and snakes. I guess we’re going to the airport now so we can take the plane to Sweden again.. I don't want to go home.. it’s so cold in Sweden right now and here is it so nice and warm, and all my  favorite bands are here all tho they’re from Oakland, CA all of them but aww i really like it here. 

Well I guess I should stop now so we can board the plane. See you guys in Sweden again// Frederika <3 <3

Framställning av estrar

Uppgift:

Framställa olika estrar med hjälp av olika syror.

Material:

• Provrör 3st
• Bägare
• Provrörsställ
• Ättiksyra
• Smörsyra
• Etanol
• Propanol
• Kristallisationsskål
• Skyddsutrustning, Glasögon och förkläde
• Koncentrerad svavelsyra 

Utförande:

Numrera provrören för att kunna hålla reda på vilket provrör som innehåller vilken blandning.

Häll i lika mycket ättiksyra som etanol, ca 2 cm av varje, i provrör ett.

Häll i lika mycket ättiksyra som propanol, ca 2 cm av varje, i provrör två.

häll i lika mycket smörsyra och etanol, ca 2 cm av varje, i provrör tre.

Ställ de tre provrören i en bägare med hett vatten. Efter några minuter ber ni läraren att droppa i koncentrerad svavelsyra, för att skynda på processen.

Efter ytterligare några minuter häller ni vätskan i ett kristallisationskål med ljummet vatten.

Lukta och anteckna vad ni kände för doft.

Syfte:

Att kunna veta vilka dofter man kan framställa genom att använda olika syror. 

Reultat:

Slutsats:

Min slutsats till detta är att, om man blandar t.ex två kemiska syror kan man få fram olika lukter och  smaker som egentligen finns på riktgt men att man inte kan ha i de i t.ex godiset för att smaken eller lukten försvinner.

Om man tar lite mer än av de olika syrorna blir lukten mer som den ska eller mer alkoholaktig.
